Only a handful of U.S. notes enjoy a similar level of respect and admiration as the iconic Chief note, so named for its depiction of Running Antelope, a member of the Oncpapa tribe of the Sioux Indians. While not an extremely rare note per se, its popularity and high demand keep prices healthy. This Gem Uncirculated 65 offers about all one could want from a Chief - four nicely balanced margins, crisp white paper and bold blue embossing that almost floats above the paper.
