SYRIA. Seleukid Kingdom. Demetrios II Nikator (Second Reign) 129-125 B.C. AR Tetradrachm (16.61 gms), Antioch on the Orontes Mint, ca. 129-128 B.C. NGC VF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5.
HGC-9, 1117B; SC-2166.2A. Obverse: Diademed head right; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding Nike and scepter; Ξ to outer left, Δ below throne. A quite well centered example with an impressive portrait. All reverse details are sharp. Minor contact marks scattered throughout the fields are noted on the attractively toned surfaces.
