Gaedechens-2104. By F. Staudigel & C. Schnitzspahn. Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of the poet. Obverse: Laureate bust facing slightly left; Reverse: Scene from "Die Glocke," along with the civic coat-of-arms of Hamburg. Quite SCARCE in gold, this impressive literature-related issue offers a great prooflike appearance, with tremendous mirroring in the fields and a delightful frosting to the devices.
