GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Wolfenbuttel. 1/2 "Spectacles" Taler, 1588. Goslar Mint; mm: patriarchal cross. Julius. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, VF Details.
KM (MB)-218; Welter-587. A fairly RARE minor denomination, this so-called "spectacles" issue clearly saw a good deal of use in commerce, exhibiting some even handling throughout as well as some cleaning as noted.
