HGC-4, 1846; BCD Corinth-Unlisted; Pegasi-385. Obverse: Pegasos flying left; Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena right; to left, facing ithyphallic herm and N. A fairly SCARCE and seldom encountered type, this charming example features an attractively toned flan of good metal and some hints of brilliance remaining. Tremendous detail and solid centering overall.
