SICILY. Siculo-Punic. Entella. AR Tetradrachm (16.54 gms), ca. 320/15-300 B.C. NGC AU, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 4/5. Fine Style.
HGC-2, 287; Jenkins-208 (O63'/R182). Obverse: Head of Arethousa left, wearing grain wreath; pellet to lower left; four dolphins around; Reverse: Head of horse left; palm tree to right; MM (in Punic) below. Very well centered on each side and exhibiting just the slightest degree of handling upon the high points, this enticing example also yields stunning artistry and some attractive toning.
