SICILY. Siculo-Punic. Entella. AR Tetradrachm (17.08 gms), ca. 320/15-300 B.C. NGC Ch AU, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5. Fine Style. Flan Flaw.
HGC-2, 284; Jenkins-Series 3A (Unlisted dies). Obverse: Head of Arethousa left, wearing grain wreath; four dolphins around; Reverse: Head of horse left; palm tree to right; 'MMHNT (in Punic) below. Despite the noted flan flaw, this specimen of exceptionally fine style also offers some pleasing toning paired with a great strike and some subtle brilliance in the protected areas.
