1773 Virginia Halfpenny. Newman 25-M, W-1580. Rarity-2. Period After GEORGIVS, 7 Harp Strings. MS-63 RB (PCGS).
Abundant light rose color remains to surfaces that are minimally toned in pale brown. Satiny to semi-reflective in finish with a nicely executed strike that is bold to sharp throughout the design. An excellent Mint State representative of this classic Colonial era type.
