Rev : EDWIN ALDRIN engraved in triangular shaped field with rounded corners; an aerial profile of a plane below. Edge : 1969 (cornucopia) BRONZE. Bright yellow bronze surfaces with a few inconsequential handling marks in the obverse field below the plane. Housed in a blue leather case with functional spring closure. The interior is blue plush and blue silk and is marked MONNAIE DE PARIS. Les Vieilles Tiges is a French association recognized as being of public utility on August 25, 1926. It was founded by pioneers in the service of the French Air Force who retained nostalgia for the heroism displayed in the Great War.
