Description
1904 Liberty Head Double Eagle. MS-65 (NGC).
Although the 1904 double eagle is quite common in lower Mint State grades, at the MS-65 level it is somewhat elusive. This particular example boasts a uniform satin texture with excellent definition to Liberty's portrait. The surfaces feature warm golden-wheat shades with a dusting of original patina. Nicely struck and smooth, without any noteworthy abrasions.
