Description

1901-S Liberty Head Eagle. MS-65 (NGC).

A spectacular Gem from the turn of the 20th century with a blend of sandy-gold and warmer honey coloration. The surfaces remain incredibly satiny and a few swaths of pale patina are noted on the obverse. While 2,812,750 were struck for the issue, fewer than 5,000 survive in all Gem grades.
