HGC-3.1, 1042. Obverse: Horned head of Pan left; lagobolon to right; all in the center of a Macedonian shield; Reverse: Athena advancing left, holding shield decorated with aegis and preparing to cast thunderbolt; crested Macedonian helmet to inner left, monogram to inner right. This handsome piece is nicely struck and centered on the generous sized flan. Some surface porosity is noted, but it is a wonderful representative of the type.
