MACEDON. Kingdom of Macedon. Antigonos I Monophthalmos, as strategos of Asia, 320-306/5 B.C., or king, 306/5-301 B.C. AR Drachm, Magnesia Mint, ca. 318-301 B.C. NGC EF.

Pr-1955. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; filleted torch in left field, monogram below throne. An attractive specimen with good mint luster and a pleasing appearance.
