ITALY. Calabria. Tarentum. AR Didrachm (Nomos) (6.41 gms), ca. 280-272 B.C. EXTREMELY FINE.
HGC-1, 879; Vlasto-830; HN Italy-997. Obverse: Nude youth riding and crowning horse left; Reverse: Phalanthos, holding kantharos and trident, on dolphin left. Somewhat poorly struck, but retaining an attractive color and luster.
