1880 Gold Dollar. MS-63 PL (NGC). CAC.
The frosty honey-gold motifs and reflective fields form a pleasing cameo contrast. One of just 1,600 examples of the date produced for circulation. The luster is substantial and the surfaces are free of any marks; we note a splash of deeper golden color on the reverse that is best seen under low magnification. Choice for the grade.
