Description

Fr. 1187m. 1922 $20 Gold Certificate Mule Note. PCGS Banknote Superb Gem Uncirculated 68 PPQ.

A near perfectly margined 1922 $20 Gold Certificate that features brilliant gold overprint inks. The paper is bright which helps accentuate the jet black primary design. The back printing features the heraldic eagle from the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States at center with large 20 counters at left and right. The back design retains pleasing originality of the dark orange colored ink. George Washington's portrait, found at center on the face, was engraved by Alfred Sealey. This is unequivocally the finest 1922 $20 Gold Certificate we have ever offered.

Estimate: $20000.00 - $30000.00
