Description

CANADA. Bank of Canada. 1000 Dollars, 1937. BC-28. Low Serial Number. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.

The note shows with a central portrait of Sir Wilfred Laurier and red under-printing with rays. Back design shown with allegorical scene of a kneeling female shielding her child. The quality of the note overall is outstanding, with strongly printed devices and vibrant color. This note is the finest issued example we have had the chance to offer in our lengthy auction history. This note also displays the low three digit serial number of "0000110." A good opportunity for the Canadian collector to acquire or upgrade to this flashy Gem example.

Estimate: $20000.00-$25000.00
