20.6 mm. Lustrous satin surfaces exhibit pretty iridescent undertones of reddish-apricot and powder blue. A square-shaped planchet flaw at the lower left obverse border precludes an even higher Mint State grade, although it is an as made feature. Endearing Choice quality for this highly desirable Patriotic Civil War variety struck from dies attributed to Robert Lovett, Jr.
