Morris M. Oxley (1839-1915) was a blacksmith working in Miamisburg, OH from the 1860s to the 1890s. Oxley served in the Civil War as a Corporal with Company E, 146th Ohio Infantry in the Union Army. Brunk gives no information on this issuer, but does list one example reported on an 1833 large cent, making this a new example.
