Late 19th and 20th Century Tokens
Lot of (28) 1880s Trade Cards Featuring Unusual Products, Famous People or Unusual Shapes.
A very intriguing lot featuring cards advertising such quaint products as the Electric Health Lift, a scale-like device that had electric probes you could apply to any part of the body that was not well, Bovinine, the True Elixir of Life, that saved President Grant, a nice butterfly-shaped card that has weights attached to its wings so it can balance on your finger, a trade card made to look like a fringed bookmark, and cards featuring President Cleveland’s young wife and Lillie Langtry. All generally post-card size, some larger and some smaller. Average Condition Very Fine. Typical flaws. A nice group!
