Late 19th and 20th Century Tokens
Lot of (70) 1880s Trade Cards.
A wide variety of products are represented, but this lot seems to be especially rich in cards for quack medicines and various brands of thread - at that time usually referred to as “spool cotton”. Mostly of about post card size, but with one promoting Ordway’s Sulphur Bitters measuring nearly 8 x 10 inches and displaying an 1890 calendar on the reverse. Conditions Fine and better. A few of these seem to have been cut from an old album, and have a backing over the reverse advertising, and one or two have trimmed edges.
