44.8 mm. Obv: Arms with peripheral inscription ENSE PETIT PLACIDAM LIBERTATE QUIETEM, date 1888 below. Rev: Standing pikeman, founder Robert Keyne, 1638, with peripheral inscription. Several spots of verdigris are noted for the obverse, as is a scrape in the upper left field. The Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts is a patriotic service organization preserving historic and patriotic traditions of Boston, Massachusetts, and the United States. They are also the oldest chartered military organization in the western hemisphere.
