1932 Lake Placid Olympic Winter Games Participant's Medal. Bronze. Choice Mint State.
60 mm x 45 mm (average width). Obv: Winged figure facing left sounding herald, Olympic rings above. Rev: Central inscription III / OLYMPIC / WINTER / GAMES / LAKE PLACID / 1932 with shields around border and competitive scenes below. Lovely medium-bronze surfaces with bold definition and no signs of obvious handling. Very well preserved, in fact, and a delight to behold.
