g Edward VII (1901-10), gold Half-Sovereign, 1907, bare head right, De S. below truncation for engraver George W De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP:, rev. St George slaying the dragon with sword, broken lance to lower left, date in exergue with B.P. designer initials (Hill 510; Bull EGC 1426; M.C.E. 636; S 3974B). Toned, light surface marks, has been slabbed and graded by PCGS as MS64.PCGS Certification 206766.64/37318623.
Calendar year mintage 4,233,421.
The Latin legend on the obverse translates as "Edward the Seventh, by the grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
