XF45 | Australia, Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half Sovereign, 1864, Sydney Mint, second type, second filleted head with a wreath of banksia left date below, legend surrounding VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. rev. AUSTRALIA at centre, crown and laurel wreath surrounding, SYDNEY MINT above HALF SOVEREIGN below (Marsh 389; S.3860). Some scratches as is normal for type, graded by NGC as XF45.

NGC Certification 6321036-011.

Calendar Year Mintage 141,000.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith".
