Kings of Macedon, Philip V (221-179 BC), silver Tetradrachm, Pella or Amphipolis, c.220-211 BC, diademed head right, rev. Athena Alkidemos, seen from behind, advancing left, holding shield with star on left arm, and thunderbolt in right hand, ΣP and EP monograms, 16.74g, 12h (Mamroth, Philip 1; SNG Alpha Bank 1050; SNG München 1124; SNG Saroglos 934; Rhousopoulos 1188 = Jameson 1011). In NGC holder graded Ch AU, Strike 5/5, Surface 2/5 “edge bend, brushed, fine style”.
