MS64 Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half Sovereign, 1887, Jubilee type crowned bust left, J.E.B. initials on truncation for engraver Joseph Edgar Boehm, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, date below either side of bottom of frame, legend commences lower left with toothed border surrounding, BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF: edge milled, 4.00g (DISH L508; Marsh 478A; S.3869). Highly lustrous and devoid of all significant handling marks, graded by NGC as MS64.
