LACONIA. Gythium. Caracalla, 198-217. Assarion (bronze, 5.45 g, 22 mm). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right. Rev. ΓΥΘЄΑ[ΤωΝ] Zeus seated left on throne, holding thunderbolt and sceptre. BCD Peloponnesos 963. Very fine. Very rare.
