LACONIA. Gythium. Caracalla, 198-217. Assarion (bronze, 4.21 g, 21 mm). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right. Rev. ΓΥΘЄΑ[ΤωΝ] Zeus seated left on throne, holding thunderbolt and sceptre. BCD Peloponnesos 963. Very fine. Very rare.
