Thrace, Mesembria Æ21. Circa 175-100 BC. Diademed head of female (Amazon) right / ΜΕΣΑΜ-ΒΡΙΑΝΩΝ, Athena Promachos standing left, brandishing spear and shield, helmet to left in inner left field. SNG Stancomb 236 (this coin); Karyatov II, pls. 118-125; SNG BM Black Sea 284-286; HGC 3.2, 1573. 6.95g, 21mm, 12h.
