Kings of Macedon, Alexander III ‘the Great’ (336-323 BC) AR Drachm (Silver, 4.17g, 18mm) Magnesia ad Maeandrum, under Lysimachos, ca 305-297.
Obv: Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress.
Rev: AΛEΞANΔPOY Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, head of a lion left; to outer right, monogram of AP within wreath above E; below throne, P.
