A LATE ROMAN GILT BRONZE CROSSBOW BROOCH
Circa 4th century AD.
With arched bow and facetted onion-shaped terminals ('Zwiebelknöpfe'). The foot is decorated with two pairs of moulded volutes and terminates in a further volute. With hinged pin; some gilding remains.
