A DECORATED GREEK PEDIMENT-SHAPED GOLD DIADEM
Hellenistic period, circa late 4th-3rd century BC.
Made of thin gold sheet with die-formed decoration. In the centre a palmette complex, on either side a band of laurel leaves and berries; all framed by a line border. Broken/bent and repaired (attached to acrylic glass), with minor parts missing.
