BYZANTINE SEALS. Michael, protostrator, Circa 11th century. Seal or Bulla (Lead, 20,5 mm, 8.00 g, 12 h). Nimbate bust of the Archangel Michael, holding scepter with his right hand and globus with his left. Rev. +ΘKE B' / C OIKETH / MIXAHΛ / ΠPΩTO/CTAT in five lines within round dotted border. Very fine.
