SICILY. Himera. Circa 430-420 BC. Hemilitron or Hexonkion (Bronze, 25 mm, 15.97 g, 12 h). Gorgoneion facing. Rev. Six pellets (mark of value). CNS I, p. 34-35, nos. 24-24/5. HGC 2, 472 (this coin illustrated). Kraay, Himera, pl. VI, 6. Pleasing patina and well-centered. Certainly one of the best known. Rare. About extremely fine.
