Titus, as Caesar, 69-79. Denarius (Silver, 18.5 mm, 2.89 g, 6 h), Rome, 77-78. T CAESAR IMP VESPASIANVS Laureate head of Titus to right. Rev. COS [VI] Mars nude, standing facing with head turned to left, holding trophy in left hand and spear in right. BMC 221. Cohen 65. RIC II.1 948. Attractive iridescent toning. Light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
