Description

EUBOIA. Histiaia. Circa 350-300 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 15.5 mm, 2.28 g, 12 h). Head of the nymph Histiaia to right, wearing vine wreath with grapes, pearl necklace, and pendant earring. Rev. Nymph seated to right on stern; on stern, tripod; below, trident head to left. BCD Euboia 411. HGC 4, 1524. SNG Copenhagen 535. Lightly toned. Struck from a corroded obverse die; die shift, otherwise, very fine.
