CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 272-240 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 3.11 g, 12 h), struck under the magistrates Nikokrates and An-. Head of Athena to right, wearing a crested Attic helmet ornamented with Skylla throwing a stone to right. Rev. ΝΙΚΟΚΡΑΤΗΣ - AN / TAP Owl standing facing on Ionic column. HGC 1, 910. HN III 1052. Vlasto 1096-1100. Toned. About very fine.
