SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochos III ‘the Great’, 223-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 16.13 g, 12 h), ΔΙ mint, in southern or eastern Syria, c. 202-187 BC. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right; behind, ΔΙ. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIOXOY Apollo seated to left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to exergue, ΔΙ. HGC 9, 447y. SC 1110a. Toned. Some porosity and minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
