Philip I, 244-249. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 29 mm, 18.90 g, 1 h), Rome, 246. IMP M PHILIPPVS AVG Laureate and draped bust of Philip I to right, seen from behind. Rev. [A]NNONA AVGG / S-C Annona standing facing, head to left, holding ears of grain with her right hand and cornucopia with her left; at her feet to left, modius with two ears of grain. Banti 9. Cohen 29. RIC 168a. Attractive green patina. Extremely fine.
