Claudius, 41-54. As (Bronze, 29 mm, 10.72 g, 6 h), restoration issue struck under Titus, circa 79-81, Rome. TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP P P Bare head of Claudius to right. Rev. IMP·T·VESP AVG·REST / S-C Minerva, draped and helmeted, advancing to right, brandishing spear in right hand and holding shield in left. BMC 300. Komnick 60.0. RIC II.1 484. Clear and most attractive. Small areas of weak striking, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
