Description
MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Olynthos. Circa 415-410 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 15 mm, 2.30 g, 12 h). Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. Χ-Α-Λ-ΚΙΔ-ΕΩΝ Lyre with seven strings; all within a shallow incuse square. Robinson & Clement B 15d. MAST 2.90 ( this coin ). SNG ANS 515. Of excellent style and evenly toned with iridescent highlights. Small flan faults, otherwise, about extremely fine.
