LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 340-330 BC. Nomos or Didrachm (Silver, 19 mm, 7.59 g, 3 h). Head of Demeter to right, wearing wreath of grain ears, thin veil, and pendant earring. Rev. META Ear of wheat with leaf to right; above leaf, mouse to right; in field to left, Φ. HGC 1, 1061. HN III 1570. Johnston Class A, 8.10 ( same dies ). Cabinet toning. Light marks, otherwise, good very fine.
