Diademed head of the deified Tigranes I to right, wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with a star. Rev. BAΣΙΛEΩΣ MEΓ[AΛOY TI]ΓPANOY ΘEOY Elephant standing to left. ACV 145-146. CAA 143. Kovacs 54 ( this obverse die ). A very rare issue of Tigranes the Great, honouring his deceased father. Some uncleaned deposits, otherwise, about very fine.
