ATTICA. Athens. 134-133 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29.5 mm, 16.82 g, 12 h), New style "stephanephoric" coinage, struck under the magistrates Timarchos, Nikagoras, and Mnasikles. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing a triple-crested Attic helmet, adorned with Pegasos and a long tendril on the bowl, and with four horse protomes on the visor and a pendant earring. Rev. Α-ΘΕ /TIM-APXOY / NIKAΓ/ ANTIO/XOΣ Owl standing facing on amphora; to left, anchor and star; on amphora, K (= 10th month ); below amphora, ME (= contractor's initials ); all within olive wreath.
