MYSIA. Kyzikos. 3rd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 22,5 mm, 12.33 g, 12 h). Head of Kore-Soteira to left, wearing triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace, her hair bound in a sphendone. Rev. ΚΥ-ΖΙ Apollo seated to left on an omphalos, holding a phiale in his right hand and resting his left elbow on a kithara at his side; before his feet, prow to left. Cf. SNG Paris 17-8 ( but with a monogram above the prow ). Cf. Von Fritze II 31 ( same ). Fine old cabinet tone. A few light marks and scuffs, otherwise, good very fine.
