SICILY. Panormos (as Ziz). Circa 400-380 BC. Litra (Silver, 12 mm, 0.66 g, 3 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with an olive wreath. Rev. sys ( in Punic ) Swan, with open wings, floating over waves to left. Cf. Buceti 52 and HGC 2, 1044 ( but with barley grain ). Jenkins, Punic pl. 24, 11 var. SNG ANS 546 ( same dies ). A rare variant. Clear and with a particularly nice reverse. Rough surfaces, otherwise, about extremely fine.
