PHOENICIA. Orthoseia. Cleopatra VII, 51-30 BC. (Bronze, 17 mm, 5.01 g, 11 h), year 27 = 38/37 BC. Laureate and bearded head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΟΡΘΩϹΙƐΩΝ LΖΚ Baal of Orthosia standing right on two lions . RPC 4500A. Extremely rare. The second and finest known example. Struck under the reign of Cleopatra VII. Beautiful chocolate brown patina, well centered and struck and with excellent details. Compare to only other example sold in M&M GmbH 32, 2010, 316 sold for 925 Eur. Nearly extremely fine.
