PONTOS. Amisos. Time of Mithradates VI Eupator, circa 85-65 BC. (Bronze, 20 mm, 8.91 g, 12 h). Head of young Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. ΑΜΙΣΟΥ Panther skin and thyrsos on cista mystica. HGC 7, 243. Malloy 26a. SNG BM Black Sea 1199-1200. Green patina. Light sandy deposits, otherwise, very fine.
