PONTOS. Amisos. Time of Mithradates VI Eupator, circa 85-65 BC. (Bronze, 19 mm, 7.04 g, 12 h). Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. AMIΣOY Eagle standing left, head right, on thunderbolt; to left, monogram. HGC 7, 245. SNG BM Black Sea 1227-31. Dark green patina. Extremely fine.
